Justin and Gina started their adventure in 2009 on a summer evening after meeting online. With just a look and a smile, Justin said knew he wanted to spend the rest of his life with her.
Gina had bought her own engagement ring ten years ago as a gift to herself. She always said that if she were to ever get married, her future husband would just “upgrade” the ring, not realizing how that would ruin the surprise behind the proposal. So Justin had a challenge to make it a special moment. He planned a trip to a cute little bed and breakfast in Steamboat Springs. He waited until nightfall and proposed to her under the stars.
The wedding took place on July 11, 2015 in an old country school house in Lakewood. It was a beautiful and very hot day surrounded by close friends and family.
Gina was definitely our “out of the box” bride this year and wow was it an AMAZING IDEA! Gina was by far the most down to earth, calm bride we have had. She was not panicked, stressed, or worried about her flowers the entire time, it was such a joy to work with her! Gina wanted her bridal bouquet to be made with silver and purple flowers. To give you an idea, here is the picture she brought <——————-to us.
We were so excited to create something similar. (making ivory, pink, red and white flowers get a little redundant sometimes….) SO! this was gonna be something awesome! Gina wanted the industrial feel but with pops of purple.
Her bouquet ended up like this….
with crepe paper lisianthus, silver roses, and even forged metal flowers! We also gave her that sparkle by adding some rhinestone to the flowers and handle. Overall this bouquet was one of our favorites and proves to those unique people out there….THERE IS A WAY TO BE UNIQUE!!!
Gina and Justin are one unique couple that makes this world even more unique! We were so happy to be a part of their wedding day and wish them a marriage of happiness and love!
